January 2008...

Welcome Year 2008! Not only is 2008 the year of the Rat, but it also has brought wonderful news!
Wanda Webb, who is my dear friend whom I met through this site, has gotten engaged over the holidays! We couldn't be happier for Wanda and Victor, and wish them many blessings of happiness and prosperity.

Wanda is the owner of Mythkat Glassworks, and has been featured on the Hall Glass Studios site as a featured Artist of the Month on several occasions. Her specialty is fused glass work, but she does enjoy copper foil cold glass as well. She has been kind enough to host special online chats with us on PMC Clay techniques, and she is also a certified PMC instructor/artist. There's just not enough room in the world to tell you how talented and wonderful she is!

While she's planning their special day, this might be a good time for all of us to focus on all kinds of things involving relationships. Perhaps our gentle readers out there would like to send in photos of their work that demonstrate 'relationships' and their beauty.
We would certainly love to see your photos, and any stories you might have to share about your work!
Currently, I'm working on some more Book thongs for the shop, and in the early stages of designing Dad's window for his house. In other exciting news, I've received a brand new computer, which will allow me to hopefully add in webcam pictures of works in progress- such as Dad's Project. Until then, I'll leave you with warm thoughts and wishes for a prosperous New Year!
