  1. Do you do custom neckpieces?
Yes Absolutely! Many times clients send me picks that they've caught at concerts- to have their special night forever remembered on a neckpiece. Or sometimes musicians might have one made to show their loyalty to a particular instrument manufacturer.

2. I have a band, and I'd like some made up in mass quantity to sell at my gigs and on my website. Do you wholesale?
No Problem! For copyright reasons, you will have to supply the quantity of picks you want made into neckpieces. Pricing is quoted from the quantity you want, so the more you order, the more you can save per piece. Please email us if you would like more information regarding mass quantity orders.
Because of the nature of mass quantity items, handmade lampworked beads may not be used as to ensure uniformity, and give you a better "bottom line" by using machine made beads instead.

3. How is the quality? What are they made of?
The picks themselves are plastic, but .999 Fine Silver picks are also available. I use the "Closed Circuit" wirework technique, which means that the only way to get the beads off is to either break the beads, or cut the wire.  I believe in making jewelry which will last- and I wear Dad's pick everyday- all the time. (Yes, even in the shower.)
I use 20 gauge sterling silver wire, glass beads of various types, colours, and sizes, and sometimes natural stone beads too. The wire pulse is strung on leather cording, for a unisex look and casual design. You specify what size you would like your pick necklace- or if you are custom ordering, you can even choose what beads or colour scheme you like best.

4. I want to send you a pick to have something made.. where do I send it to?
Since my studio also happens to be where I live, I prefer to not post my address online. However, I check my email frequently, and I'm more than happy to supply my address to email inquiries.
When sending picks- send it in something that looks like a Thank You card or invitation, or make it look like a bill. If your pick has any substantial value, or sentimental value to you at all- PLEASE insure it when mailing. I cannot be responsible for mail that has been tampered with, or lost. Your item will be insured when it's sent back to you if it's value is $50 and over. (Single or collectively.)

5. How do you put the holes in the picks?
Because high quality standards are a must for our picklaces, our techniques are exclusively unique on the market. In an effort to stand out from the others, we keep our proprietary information private.

6. I've seen a famous band's pick on your site, and I want to buy that one. I click on it, but nothing happens. Why?
The picks featured in the Guitar Pick Gallery are not for sale- those are custom items created for clients. Those are online for new clients to use the pictures for a design reference on their custom work. However, if you get a pick from a concert, Ebay, or collector's shop- we'd be thrilled to make a design just for you!

7. How did you come up with the guitar pick necklaces- and how does it relate to stained glass exactly?
My parents had been divorced much of my life, and when I was about 10, it came time for me to go live with my mom. I swiped a pick out of my Dad's guitar case- to always have something of "his" with me where ever I went. I put a bail on it, and wore it on a simple chain for much of my childhood.
Fast forward several years, and I learned about Lampworked beads, and blown beads. It would be a very special thing to take Dad's pick and flank it with some beads I made myself, and voila! The Original Guitar Pick Necklace- more than jewelry, but also a treasured piece which has a story.
It was an instant hit, and it meant a lot to me that something I created for very personal reasons, could mean so much to others.
